Happy Birthday to our Wonderful Dad! It was a relaxing day! After afternoon naps we headed to the mall for birthday ice cream and a little shopping. And then onto Paradiso for birthday dinner! Here's our only picture from today. We love you, Dad!

Morning Shenanigans
This morning while I was making their bottles Callie found a new seat, and no I didn't put her in there-she did it all herself!

Corn on the Cob for the First Time
In following this week's theme the kids had their first go at corn on the cob. Callie dove right in! But after holding the cob for the first few bites she decided she preferred for mom to hold it! Anderson was more hesitant-to say the least-he cried for the first 5 minutes! He wouldn't even touch it! David cut off some of the corn and once Anderson had a bite of that he decided eating it off the cob wasn't so bad.
*Other big news around here...Callie took 7 steps by herself today. Her record as of today! Looks like walking on her own isn't too far off!

Fall Weekend in Andover
Wow!!! What a weekend we just had! Friday when David got off work we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Boettger's and boy was there fun to be had! Saturday was spent with Grandma, Grandpa, Josh and Brenda. We had breakfast together (Cousin Chris was at breakfast too!) and then headed to the Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch! From there we went to Jackie's to meet our new little cousin Sophia and see some other cousins and their families! Sunday morning we had a quick little visit with some of the Greats (Grandma, Grandpa, Merri, Nancy and Cousin Natalie). Mom and Dad then left us with the family while they went out on a nice little date! We had the best time while they were gone! We played outside, rode in the new pedal car Grandpa got for us, tried out the Harley, meet Josh and Brenda's chickens, played the piano, went on a walk and had dinner! Monday morning we headed home, tired out from all our fun! While we were in Andover this weekend we broke the news of our move to Shreveport. Of course everyone is sad that we are going to be farther away but no distance can keep this family apart! We told David's family about the move last week and they are so excited to have us back in the South and a little bit closer!

Sinus Infections
Today we visited the doctor and the kids were diagnosed with their first sinus infections. Here's to hoping the antibiotics work! Dr. Osuala said allergies might be playing a role too so if they aren't feeling better in a week I have an allergy med prescription I can fill. Here are their stats from today's visit. Anderson is 30 1/2 inches long (odd, because this is shorter than last time!) and 21 pounds. Callie is 28 1/2 inches and 16 pounds 12 ounces.

Hostfest
Yesterday the kids attended their first Hostfest! And they did it right...they ate their way through! We had a bratwurst wrapped in a potato, a Norwegian hot dog, a deep fried meatball, rice pudding (which Callie loved-she's her mommy's girl and it was good but nothing compare to Great Grandma's or Great Aunt Merri's!), and cookies. There are only a few pictures because I forgot the camera at home-this also explains the blurry family shot.
