26 Weeks

Here we are at 26 Weeks! School ended last week so now I'm free to enjoy my pregnancy and relax! I don't feel like my belly is growing right now but I'm sure it'll get big enough! David left Saturday morning and will be gone until July. So I had the entire weekend to myself! I saw Sex and the City 2 with a friend, took the 4 legged kids to the dog park so that they could have a play date and did some shopping! I bought way too much flannel at JoAnn but how could I not when we have two sweet little ones on the way and it was on sale! Now I have to decide what to make with it all! I must admit I also bought some boy and girl scrapbook paper! Since David isn't around to take my weekly picture I am enlisting the help of friends! Nicole was lucky enough to be our first guest photographer and she did great! Nicole has twin girls so she knows what this is all about! The bottom picture is with Addison-big sister to the twins! And in case you can't read it I have to tell you what my shirt says "my pod has two peas!"

25 Weeks

Things are still going great at 25 weeks! Both babies are moving around a lot and I must admit I love feeling them! We accomplished a few things this week to get ready for the babies. 1. The upstairs bathroom is just about done! The floor gets installed next week and then we'll be good to go! David did an amazing job on refinishing everything! I'll post a picture once the floor is in 2. We picked up carpet to have installed (next week) into the office. Once that's done we'll be able to move everything to where it belongs. 3. We ordered the kiddos dressers! They will be delivered in mid-late June! I just hope the look good with the cribs! It's tough matching cherry wood but I think they'll be fine!

24 Weeks

This past weekend David and I headed home for my cousin's wedding. It was a great but very short trip! While home Jackie let us borrow 2 car seats, 2 swings, and a stroller base to clip the car seats into! Yay! My parent's neighbors gave us their glider/recliner! We are so thankful to have such wonderful, generous people in our lives! We also finished up our registry-it's amazing how much two little babies need!

Grandma and Grandpa Boettger we also able to feel the babies moving! Speaking of moving, today our little girl was very active during reading class, so I looked down at my belly and I could see it moving! It was the first time I saw it move! Later on in the day I also saw him move! Talk about exciting! Hopefully, they'll be active again tonight so that David can see them too! Less than two weeks of school left and then I get to focus on preparing for the twins!

Here's a picture of everything we got at the Ellen Show! Excluding; 2 high chairs, 2 strollers, a necklace and 2 pair of booties!

23 Weeks!

Here we are at 23 weeks and things are going great! We're both getting really excited because we have both felt the babies moving around. We had an appointment today and the doctor said that everything looks good-even after my little scare last week. While we were at the appointment David recorded the babies heartbeats for your listening/viewing pleasure, just click on the play button! Our little girl had a heartbeat of 165 and our little boy had a heartbeat of 157. My belly is measuring 27 cm.

Laughing because I have food stains on my shirt, a very common occurrence now!

Ellen and LA!

Wow! What an awesome weekend! We (mom and I) arrived in LA late Wednesday night. Thursday morning we ordered room service and got ready for the Ellen Show. Once we were ready we headed over to Kerry's hotel where our moms met and we caught up.

Kerry and I then headed to the Ellen Show and our moms went off on their own adventure. We got to the Ellen Show just on time! We checked in and were given numbers 57 and 58 out of 200ish!
We then waited until our numbers were called and we were led across the street to Ellen's studio! We went through security and were shown to our seats. We got perfect seats, as they were looking for 2 people to fill 2 empty seats in the 3rd row on the aisle! The show was awesome and we were given incredible things. Best of all we got 2 of everything seeing as we are both expecting twins! We got strollers, high chairs/booster chairs, Shrinkxhips (to shape up after birth), angora booties, swaddlers, sleepers, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, video monitors, burp cloths/bibs, organic baby bjorns, security blankets, bathtubs, bathing products, a diaper bag, a mother/child necklace, Ellen onesies, 6 months of diapers and more! After the taping we had to drive (rather our driver drove) through the parking lot so that they could load things up! We then headed back to the hotel and checked out all of our stuff with our moms!
After that we headed to the UPS store to ship things home. And to top the night off we went to dinner at the Granville Cafe, which was amazing! It was a great day full of fun and it was wonderful to see Kerry and her belly!

Mom and I spent Friday and Saturday exploring LA. We went on the Warner Bros. Tour, Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, Sprinkle Cupcakes, Downtown Burbank, and Santa Monica Pier.

22 Weeks

Opps, we forgot to post yesterday! We took the pictures after dinner and then headed out on errands, when we got back I totally forgot about posting! Anyways, I spent the weekend laying really low. Yesterday I went to work and felt fine! I talked with my doctor and he gave me the ok to go to LA since all the tests looked good and I was feeling fine! He did suggest that I stop by and pick up a copy of my records to carry with me so I did. Now it's time to pack and get ready for some free stuff and a little relaxation! Yay!
