My Birthday

David is gone all this week but that didn't stop him and the kids from giving me an awesome birthday! I woke up to 3 beautiful kids in my bed telling me Happy Birthday. They then promptly ran off and got my birthday cards! The boys gave me singing ones (Liam was beside himself with joy over his selection) and Callie's was a princess!  I was then lead into the living room where they had all my presents lined up on the coffee table! The presents were opened and I sat there amazed at these kids and how they kept and set up these surprises for me! They're growing up too fast! And their pure excitement to be celebrating my birthday, I mean how awesome!  After breakfast we headed to the trampoline park and then lunch at Noah's Bagels before hitting up swimming lessons.  It was during rest time that my biggest surprise came-36 gorgeous pink roses! Then there were lots of FaceTime calls from family, dinner and the ice cream  cake David had hidden in the freezer! Such a good day! I think 36 is going to be pretty great!

Medal Time!

Today Anderson received his medal for passing all of his beginner swim classes! Woohoo! Way to go bud! You're awesome sauce!

Spritz Cookies

I love Christmas cookies! We had already made sugar cookies and peanut blossoms so the only ones left of my favorites to make was Spritz cookies! David left Sunday morning for a week and I had plans for the kids and I to do a Christmas outing here in town but it was storming so cookies it was!

Our Christmas Night Out

Friday we had a family Christmas night out!  We started at a local toy store where we saw Santa and Mrs. Claus.  The kids were hesitant at first but eventually warmed up just enough to hand Santa their letters and for some pictures!  It's the most success we've had with Santa.  I think it helped that it wasn't crowded and we were the only ones back there for a bit.  From there we headed to a nice dinner at Zephyr in Downtown Livermore.  The food was delicious!  Both David and I had the Grinch Roast Beast!  I mean who can refuse a dish named after one of our favorite movies!  Then it was off to Hayward to see The Nutcracker.  David, Callie and I have been before but this was the boys first time seeing it and they loved it!  It was put on by Callie's dance studio and they did a really nice job.  We were in the first row of the balcony so our seats were perfect!  Everyone was in good moods the whole time so the night was pretty much pure perfection!

Christmas Lights

I'm I love looking at Christmas lights and boy does California impress! We made 4 stops-1. Candy Cane Lane, an entire street decked out. 2. Widmer World, they were so sweet to us and they're going to be on The Great Christmas Light Fight this week! 3. Livermore Lights-basically the Bellagio in someone's front yard. They won The Great Christmas Light Fight last week! 4. Deacon Dave's-500,000 lights! So beautiful! My favorite! It was a great night! Side note-David and I went out looking at lights again the next night and found 2 more awesome streets! Can't wait to take the kids!

More Hockey

Anderson is still loving hockey. He's signed up for another round! So glad he's found something he likes and that he's willing to do alone, without sister or brother!  And he's getting pretty good!

Sounds and Lights Parade

When we first found out we were moving to Livermore for the year this parade kept popping up on my web searches so when it came time to go on Saturday I was so excited! We met our friends for dinner first, then it was onto the parade. It was a sweet little town parade and the kids were beyond excited to see Santa on the fire truck! We even drove by the fire station after to look for his sleigh!
