Seeing Greenville

Our trip to South Carolina started in Greenville at Aunt Sarabeth's house where Liam got to meet Aunt Sarabeth for the first time and Anderson and Callie were able to get reacquainted.  We spent Friday night playing at the park in her backyard, exploring her house and eating yummy pizza.  Saturday morning we went out for breakfast and then to River Park to run around and have some fun in the warm sunshine.

Liam's in the Sandbox!

Liam had his first go round in the sandbox on Wednesday. He loved it! He had a great time wiggling his toes in the sand, playing with brother and sister, watching it fall through his fingers and of course tasting a fair amount!

Easter Bunny

Today went to the Boardwalk to have lunch and see the Easter Bunny with the Motts. We had a great time at lunch but the Easter Bunny was taking a nap and wouldn't be up until 6pm! So the kids found a picture of him outside and this is what we got:)

Egg Carton Lunch

I saw this idea on Pintrest and thought it was easy and fast enough that I could actually do it!  I filled the eggs with carrots, mini muffins, grapes, raisins, cheese cubes, dried fruit, and crackers.  It was fun to watch the different strategies the kids used-Callie opened all the eggs and then selected the order in which to eat them, Anderson ate each egg as he opened it.  Both let out plenty of squeals and had to have 2nds!  Call this one a success!

Mustache March

Again this year we decided to surprise Dad and have mustaches on when he came home from work to celebrate Mustache March.  I don't love it but it doesn't bother me either.  The kids however are in love with David's mustache!  He's trained them to tell the mustache good night and to pet it!  Callie wasn't in the mood for a mustache, Anderson proudly picked one like Dad's and I decided to have mine and Liam's match our hair!

St. Patrick's Day

We had a great St. Patrick's Day meal!  I made my first ever corned beef and cabbage and it turned out great!  I also made naturally green mac and cheese, kiwi and our drinks had shamrock shaped straws!

Grandpa & Grandma's Spring Break Trip

Grandpa and Grandma came and spent the last week with us for Grandma's Spring Break. We had a lot of fun! They arrived Saturday morning and the fun began. Highlights include: David and I getting dressed up and going out to celebrate our friend's birthday, shopping and eating on the Boardwalk,  spending the day in Nachitoches and going on a carriage ride (where Liam was changed in a field wagon because there was no bathroom!), playing outside, going to gymnastics and out to dinner, having a picnic at the park, having a driveway fire, David completing his first triathlon, me running a color 5K, grandma and grandpa babysitting...so glad y'all came to visit!  We loved having you and miss you dearly!
