Mustache March

And the best part of the day...Callie said "Night-night Daddy," when he left the room at bedtime!

Anderson's Skin Tag

Wednesday, March 21 we headed to the doctor to have Anderson's skin tag removed or as we affectionately call it 'his 6th finger!" He did a great job while the work was being done. His hand was numbed, the doc cut it off and then finished by cauterizing it. The messiest part of all of this was the day after it happened. He woke up from nap and it had broken open so there was blood all over his blanket, sheet, chew guard and loveys! He spent the next few days wearing a band-aid medically taped to his hand! I think he felt really cool wearing it, especially when a little boy at the park asked what happened to him! We headed back into today to have her take a look at it and to tell us it wasn't cancerous!

Videos I Forgot to Posts with the Last Post

This Weekend

All weekend David worked hard redoing our flowerbeds and they look amazing! He rearranged plants, put down weed fabric, added rocks around the edges and new mulch! Way to go honey, you are awesome!  If only we had some before pictures.  Saturday the kids and I ran a few errands and as you can see Callie is NOT into hair bows right now! So this is the look she had while we picked up our meat order and went to Target! She's sporting the same look today (again, after various hair pretty attempts). Sunday afternoon we did get out on the lake for a bit and it was wonderful! The kids did an amazing job on the boat-it was the first time with just us! We floated for awhile and the kids dangled and splashed their feet in the water off of the swim deck-the water's not quite warm enough to get all the way in. A few new words are in our vocab-mail (which they take turns getting every day with Dad) and no-Callie loves making a little face and saying "no no no no!" Thankfully it's just been to the dogs or into thin air, just wait until she tries it with David or I!

Today's Library Trip

We finally made it back to the library today for our second story time.  We sang and danced to Old MacDonald, read 2 books about farms and did a chick art project.  Anderson was into gluing the pieces on (1st picture) and Callie was into coloring her chick (2nd picture).  On the way out we stopped and picked out 2 books to take home with us, actually Anderson picked out our 2 books-Dinosaurs Count and Tumble Bumble.

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit March 11-17

The visit started off by David and I going on a date!  We went out for a steak dinner and then to the Zac Brown Band concert!  The rest of the visit consisted of a lot of fun things (mainly firsts).  First experience with the ice cream truck, which by the way the didn't eat!  First time with bubbles! Callie's first scraped knees!  Seems she'll be having scraped knees all summer because she's scraped them two other times since then and drawn blood both times!  Perhaps the biggest first of them all...we went out on the boat!  First time the kids planted flowers, with Grandma's help!  Other than that a few times out to eat, lots of walks and playtime outside, Grandma making a cushion for the upstairs window seat, Beau's 5th Brithday, some new words (our vocab now consists of Dada, Momma, dog, ball, car, hi, bye, play, and occasional more, please, and night-night) and we'll call it a visit!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today we went out for breakfast at Southfield Grill-a hometown diner of sorts and it was good! We spent the rest of the day just hanging out. Grandma and Grandpa left during nap (we'll post pics from their visit later) and we ate dinner outside!

Baby Boy's Doctor Visit Stats

Today's visit went well! David was unable to join me. I did my glucose/diabetes testing (we'll find out results next week) and visited with the doctor. Everything is looking good. Baby boy's heartbeat was 146 and my belly is measuring at 26cm! So far we've been on 4 week visits but we're now switching to every 2 weeks! That means his arrival is getting closer!
