Today

Today was one of those pretty much perfect days-the weather was warm and sunny in the low 70s, the kids were in great moods and we pretty much had the day to do as we wished. So we headed out to dance class in the stroller, from there it was across the parking lot to lunch with a few dance friends. We kept our feeting moving and walked to the library, the park and pine cone hunting (California has amazingly large beautiful ones). Once we arrived home we took Beau on a walk and then the the kids played sweetly while I did my bible study outside. Dinner and bedtime routine and bam-an almost perfect day! All day I just kept thinking cherish this because before you know it days like this will be few and far between cause they won't be this age forever. Tonight my heart is full and happy and thankful.

Counter Top Art

I found this beautiful art work on my counter top yesterday...as grandma says "at least they are writing loving things." I later found it was all Callie girl!

Breakfast in Bed

The kids served me breakfast in bed!  Sure they had to tell me to get back into bed but it was so thoughtful!  Left over plain shells, valentine pancakes with butter and syrup and a vitamin!

Disneyland

A while back we decided that we were going to take the kids to Disneyland.  We thought the middle of the week in February would be the least crowded and I think we were right!  We stayed at a Disney Hotel so each day we were allowed into the parks 1 hour early.  This was awesome because the lines for the most popular rides were super short-woohoo!  So we spent our days riding rides, meeting the princesses and our other favorite characters, eating snacks and just having a good time!  I'm happy to report the kids are now rollercoaster junkies!  I've made a photo book of our trip so I'm going to try and limit the pictures I post here but we all know how much I love pictures!

 

Happy Valentine's Day!

Free Museum Day

The first Tuesday of the month is free admission day to a number of museums in San Fransisco! So yesterday David took the afternoon off and we headed into town after lunch. Our first stop was the conservatory and their special exhibit was trains. Our second stop was a short walk away, the de Young Art Museum. We only looked at a few pieces of art. My favorite part was going up the tower and seeing the view! You know me I love a good view! From there we headed to the Koret Children's Quarter where we spent a good amount of time playing around.  We had dinner at ChaChaCha and it was delicious! Arroz con pollo, spicy shrimp, jerk chicken, quesadillas, black beans, fried plantains-so many yummy tapas! The unfortunate part of the day happened when we got home and through the night when poor Callie girl got sick. So today we're hanging low and disinfecting everthing! Liam's also starting pink eye drops! We don't have time to share illness so clean, clean, clean!
