1st Day of PreK 3

The kids had a great first day back to school!  And I didn't even shed a tear!  This year they are in PreK and will be attending Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30.  And since they're such big kids, Liam and I don't even have to go in and get them!  Their teacher walks them out to car line!  There are 7 kids in there class, which includes them.  3 of the boys were in their MDO class last year and there is one new boy and one new girl.

Jumpy House Birthday Party

Saturday the kids had a huge party at Jumpin' Jupiter. They had so much fun and totally wore themselves out , just look at the level of tiredness increasing as the pictures go on (well, until we got home and it was time for presents-then came a second wind!) They had friends from the neighborhood, gymnastics, school and the Air Force.  Thank you to everyone who came and made the party a huge success!
We handed out invitations with loud, fun socks and it was awesome to see our whole party wearing them-I can't believe everyone remembered them!
I must say they look pretty cute in their 3 year old shirts (that I made!)
Favor Bags had a jump rope, jumping frogs, bounce ball, kazoo and a few sweet treats.
We took the easy way out and ordered cupcakes from Brookshire's-loved having no stress!
What a haul, good thing we have all that trunk space!

3 Year Olds!

August 14, 2013-Anderson and Callie's 3rd Birthday!  How did that happen?  Time truly does fly!  After being woken up by Mom and Dad singing Happy Birthday we headed through the balloons and streamers to the kitchen where 2 presents and a birthday button were waiting for each kiddo.  We then had cupcakes for breakfast!  I found a recipe which is basically pancake mix in mini muffin tins.  They were good but we all preferred them without the frosting.  Dad then headed out the door to work and we went on a walk and played before meeting Dad for lunch on base.  After having naps we had snack and Facetimed with family to open presents.  After a yummy dinner of tacos we headed outside to the big birthday presents-bikes!  After a few adjustments we rode them around the block.  Then it was back inside for cupcakes made by mom!
I love this picture even though it's blurry!  We tried to have David sneak the bikes out front from upstairs while the kids were finishing dinner but they saw enough of the bikes to know what he was carrying!  Anderson yelled "Daddy has bikes!"  So the surprise was a bit spoiled but the excitement was all the same!
