Thanksgiving with the Scotts (A Little Christmas Too!)

The Scott crew (Granny, PopPop, Aunt Sarabeth, Uncle Benjamin and Aunt Maribeth with our soon-top-be-cousin!) arrived in Minot Wednesday afternoon for Thanksgiving for a few days. We had a wonderful time eating, playing, walking and yes, opening the kids Christmas presents!

Snow and Our 15 Month Check

This morning the kids had their 15 month well baby check and everything looks great!  Anderson is weighing in at 22lbs 4ozs and 30 inches tall.  Callie is 18lbs and 27 1/2 inches tall.  I write tall because today the kids stood to have their heights taken and sat on the big kids scale to be weighed!  This afternoon we tried playing in the snow since it was 40 degrees out. Callie did not enjoy herself. Anderson had a fine time and crawled around in the snow. When we were done playing we took the wagon our for it's maiden voyage to 2 of our neighbors houses to say hi.

A Week without Mom and Dad

Callie and Anderson spent the week at Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Josh and Aunt Brenda's house while David and I went house shopping in Shreveport.  The kids had a wonderful time and we found a house.  I'd love to post of picture of the new place but I forgot my camera in our rental car and it's being mailed back to me.  Here are pictures from the kids week. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped watch the kids-Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Josh, Aunt Brenda, Great Aunt Carla, Great Aunt Merri and 2nd Cousin Sarah!

A Walker and A Belly Button

Big News...Callie is a walker!  She's been practing with a few steps here and there the past few weeks but over the weekend she decided it was going to be her main mode of transportation!  Yay!  Now she gets a new pair of shoes!  And Anderson has discovered his belly button and boy is he happy to show it to you, even while being a little camera shy!

Fall Pictures

MOPS was offering outdoor photo sessions for $25 including the cd of all pictures taken, so of course I jumped on the deal.  Turns out our day for pictures was quite cold (maybe in the 40s) and the kids weren't so pumped about being outside.  Here are the best.
