Lemonade Stand COVID Style

The boys wanted a lemonade stand but David and I weren't so sure how many people would come with COVID and we weren't sure we wanted then taking money from who knows.  Plus we're in a mask mandate.  Anyways, I went to Target to get them lemonade and this is what I came home to!  Such little entrepreneurs!  We'll for sure being having a stand in the future!

Lake Brownwood State Park

We spent Father's Day weekend at Lake Brownwood State Park.  Friday night we had burgers topped with jalapeños from our plant and a nice campfire!  It rained during the night on Friday so on our Saturday morning hike we were able to see lots of animal tracks.  We then spent time at the lake, went into town to go to some boutiques and had another great fire.  Sunday morning we took the kids on their first official off road mountain biking trail and they did great!  There was some frustration when it got really hilly or rocky but they persevered and we taught them that walking is ok, just keep going!

End of the Year Awards Arrived in the Mail and They did Awesome!

Liam's Birthday at Lake Whitney State Park

For his birthday outing Liam chose to go camping!  I was able to get us a spot at Lake Whitney right on a little inlet-our favorite!  We spent the weekend in the water as it was so hot!  Friday night Liam slept in his new tent all alone!  Saturday night I was lucky enough to get to sleep in it with him!  We also received his first hatchet and pocket knife!
