Christmas Day

There are not many pictures from today because David and I decided to skip pictures (especially while opening presents) and just enjoy the moment!  We were able to get most of our presents opened before we lost power for 2 hours!  During that time the kids had a breakfast of granola bars and cereal by candlelight at their new table and chairs.  Once the power returned we had a nice breakfast/lunch and video chatted with family.  A few naps, playing, making snow, dinner and a couple of movies-The Grinch (Callie's fave) and Frosty (Anderson's fave) and it was a day! Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we headed to church which was followed by family gift opening and dinner! Once the kids were in bed we watched one of my favorite Christmas movies "Elf!"

Polar Express Train Ride

Sunday we spent the day in Palestine, TX.  We ate lunch, played at a park and rode on the POLAR EXPRESS!!!  We all had a great time.  The kids were so excited to see and ride on a ChooChoo.  We were served hot cocoa and cookies, listened to the book, stopped at the North Pole where Santa got on the train and gave each of the kids a silver bell, sang, clapped and watched the scenery.  We have so many incredible pictures from the trip I had a hard time choosing so enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
