For Daddy

David is TDY the next two weeks so the next few posts are dedicated to him. We love and miss you Daddy! Monday morning David left and the kids and I headed to the park to play with some friends. Liam had a wonderful time cruising around the sand.  That afternoon after nap (well, the twins didn't nap) we had another pool party.  Anderson and Callie had a nice time tucking Belle and Beau in and telling them night-night, thank goodness the dogs are so good with them!  Today we had MDO and then met our friend Lylah for froyo, which turned into a play date at her house and then we stayed for dinner!  The kids had a great time and there were tears from everyone when it was time to go, they didn't want to leave each other.  Lylah even cried "I keep them!" And I was so thankful for not having to cook dinner and for adult conversation!

Weekend Wrap Up

Saturday morning we went to Kylie's art birthday party and had a wonderful time!  Look at the beautiful rainbows the kids painted!  That evening we headed to the Godinez house for a party and Callie got to hang out with Isabella (who loves her!)  Sunday after church we headed to the Boardwalk to eat lunch and do some shopping.  David found a Lester sign-can you believe it and Liam was so bored he slept!  When we got home we had a little pool party-Liam's first and he loved it!

T-Shirt Designs

Wednesday while Liam was napping the big kids designed their own t-shirts!  Take special note of the red water on Anderson's and the purple necklaces on Callie's!

Back to Our BBQS!

Last spring/summer we spent almost every Sunday evening with the Godinez and Mahaffey Families at BBQs.  We rotate who's house it's at and we all bring something yummy to eat.  We've been off track for a few months now (thanks to deployments and cool weather) but we seem to be getting back on track!  Yay!  It's so nice to end the weekend relaxing with our Air Force family!

Busy Weekend!

Wow!  Did we have a busy weekend!  It started Friday morning with the twins helping me make cookies and popsicles, which they then pretended to make in their kitchen-so sweet!  Friday afternoon I headed up to base to celebrate David's promotion of being a Major Select and a School Select!  I was only able to stay for an hour because a friend was watching the kiddos and she had other plans she had to make it to but I am so thankful I was able to make it!  Saturday we got up and headed to the store to by flowers and a new tree for the front yard.  The kids did an amazing job of helping!  Saturday afternoon we headed to a family social with our Sunday School Class.  I have no pictures but boy was it fun, there was so much for the kids to do!  Sunday morning we headed to church and then to our friend Blake's 1st birthday party where we played games, jumped on the trampoline and climbed in the playhouse-oh and ate cupcakes too!  By the time Sunday night rolled around the kids were in bed by 7! And to think we had to turn down a birthday party and a BBQ!

Liam's 10 Months!

Today we had a doctor's appointment to recheck everything that went on with Liam while we were in South Carolina. Everything looks good-the ear infection is gone and his pulse is normal! His weight today was 23lbs13oz.   In the last month Liam has really started talking!  He's started saying momma, Ca for Callie, and even thank you with a little practice from dada!  He's also pulling up on everything, including in his crib! Liam, you're getting to be such a little boy!  We love you so much!  P.S.  I tried to get a picture of his 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth but he wasn't so into it:)  And can you believe another one is about to pop through!?

Friday and Saturday in Charleston

Friday morning we hung out at the Granny and PopPop's so Liam could get to feeling better.  After nap we headed over to Uncle Benjamin's, Aunt Maribeth's and Olivia's to hang out, play Uncle Benjamin's drums, give Olivia her birthday present, eat and have a campfire.  I even got to go to Costco with the ladies.  Oh, how I wish we had one here!  Saturday morning we got up, ready and hit the road for home.  Thanks for a wonderful visit!  We love and miss you all!
