Playgroup

The kids and I attend a playgroup every week. Here's a picture from this week's get together! I just love all the babies! It's so much fun to watch them interact! As of now Callie is the only girl but come March her girlfriend will be back in town so she won't be so out numbered!

Highchairs and Baby Food!

On Saturday (Feb. 19) Callie and Anderson had their first highchair and baby food experience! It went awesome! Take a look below at them trying brown rice cereal!

In their highchairs! Thanks Jackie for the recommendation! I'm pretty sure these are the only chairs that will fit in our tiny eat in kitchen!

So handsome!

Pretty Girl!

Anderson:

1st Taste on my finger...

Yum, I'll take some more...

1st try with a spoon...Anderson wanted to help...

Callie:

1st try on David's finger...

This isn't so bad...

1st try on a spoon...

Blowing rice cereal bubbles! Callie is big into blowing bubbles right now and it was extra fun to make bubbles with the cereal!

We also tried our jumper for the first time on Saturday. Both kiddos were interested but poor Callie is just too small to get a good bounce.

Today we tried carrots that David and I made! That's right we peeled, cut, boiled and blended the carrots! It was so easy! And the kids loved them! We're going to try making some of our own baby food. That way we know exactly what's in it and it's more flavorful for the kiddos! After dinner I made them butternut squash but they haven't tried it yet. And yes, Dad, it was leftover from our dinner;)

Callie with her carrots. I swear she liked them! Notice her trying to blow bubbles in the 2nd picture!

A Little Late-6 Months

Well, our 6 month post is a little late. The computer had to have somethings done to it that only David knows how to do! Anyways, we're back in business and now to get y'all up to speed!

On Feb. 3 Dad took the train from Minneapolis to Minot. We spent a day here and then we drove to the Cities on the 5th. I'm not sure if Dad knew what he was getting into but he had the joy of experiencing how an 8-9 hour drive turns into 11 1/2 hours with kids! Nursing, bottle feeding, changing diapers, playing, eating, gas stops...It was a relief to get to Grandma and Grandpa's! We had a wonderful time during our week at home, even though we were battling our first ever colds! We got to see so many family and friends! And the kids experienced so many new places! David got on the train on Feb. 11 and arrived in the Cities on the 12. Just in time to stay 24 hours and attend my cousin's wedding with us! Now the bigger news here is that before David got on the train he attended an awards banquet, where he was awarded 5th BOMB WING CGO OF THE YEAR! Wow, we are all so proud of him! You should see the crazy trophy he received. He'll be heading down to Shreveport in March for the next round of competition.

Josh loves playing with kids! Brenda too but she always seems to miss the pics!

At the wedding at the Landmark Center in St. Paul.

Here are the kiddos in their 6 month pictures. (We had professional pictures done in the Cities and I will post them once I get them.) I can hardly believe that it has already been 6 months. I feel so blessed to have such beautiful, fun, flexible, smiley, easy going, sleeping through the night, inqusitive, playful, outgoing kids!

6 Months was also Valentine's Day-Happy Valentine's Day everyone! We love you all!
