33 Week Ultrasound

Today we had our final ultrasound for Baby Brother. It's weird to say final considering we've had so few compare to the twins! Anyways, everything is looking great! He was very chill-his heartbeat was only 129! We spent a good amount of time watching his face and all his expressions and breathing! Amazing! His estimated weight is 4lbs15oz and we're only at the beginning of 33 weeks! We think he's going to be a big boy!  Can't wait to meet him in a month and a half!  In other baby news, we're finally getting to work on his nursery!  He has a drawer unit, curtains, sheets and a crib ruffle!  His car seat and stroller were delivered yesterday and we're working on getting things (bottles, clothes, pump...) washed and ready!
She confirmed that Baby Brother is still Baby Brother!

Buzz Cut

Anderson has been so hot living here in the south, David decided it was time for a buzz cut to help keep him cool. So after church today out came the clippers and marshmallows (which he ate to keep him occupied while Dad worked). The end result is a totally diffferent looking little boy, but a good looking little boy!

Easter

Happy, Hoppy Easter! Anderson and Callie woke up this morning to a trail of eggs outside their bedroom door which led them to their Easter Baskets! We looked at all the cool stuff in the Easter baskets and ate some candy, including their first Pez! All Callie wanted to do was eat the chocolate that David gave me! Which means that we basically ate candy for breakfast. We then headed off to church where the kids got some more eggs in the nursery! When we got home we hunted eggs in the backyard. Our friends, the Godinez Family and Mahaffey Family, joined us for brunch-which was delicious! The rest of the day was spent napping and hanging out.

Watching Dad's Jet

Today was David's first time flying down here and we were lucky enough that it was a down day for the wing so only a few jets were flying!  David happened to be doing pattern work over our area for an hour, so we are pretty sure we saw his jet!  I know for sure the last one we saw was his, which is the one I posted pictures of!  The kids were a little confused when I told them to wave to Daddy and asked if they saw Daddy!  But they were, as always, excited to see the planes!

Anderson's 1st Time on the Potty

Anderson went potty on the potty chair for the first time tonight! I set him on the chair and turned away for just a second and wouldn't you know I felt something warm and wet spreading across my leg (I was sitting on the floor in front of him)! That's my own fault though for not helping him to hold/control his manhood!  I was laughing so hard it was hard for me to praise him at first-I think he was a little confused.  In the end he got lots of praise and his picture taken!  Way to go Buddy!

A Lot of Fun!

We've had a lot of fun the past few days!  Granny was here visiting us Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning-what a treat!  After she left Saturday morning we headed to our first Easter Egg Hunt!  Before the hunt we made Easter bags, planted flowers in eggs, tried to get our faces painted (it didn't happen) and played some games.  Both Anderson and Callie found 6 eggs (which they had to put into some reusable shopping bags because Mom forgot their baskets at home, but hey, at least we had the bags!) and with Dad's help Anderson found the silver egg!  He took the egg to the table and received his prize-a bag with a stuffed bunny, a chocolate bunny and a wind up bunny!  After all that fun it was home to nap and restore our energy for a play date with Caleb-a friend who was in our play group in Minot and will be moving here in June!  The kids had a blast playing in the pool (even the dogs had their own pool to play in) and their first time in the sprinkler!  We decided to keep the outside fun going and eat outside (plus, Dad was dirty from working on the landscaping all afternoon!).  When the kids headed out the door to eat, Callie headed straight to the pool, looked back at us telling her no and crawled right in!  So much for the bath and clean jammies!  Loved all our outside time today, kiddos!  And thanks Callie for finding the wipes and cleaning Mom's floor:)
