And We Have Another Roller!!!

Today Callie had her first roll over! I left Anderson and Callie in the living room on the carpet while I went into the kitchen to unload groceries and start dinner. When I left they were on their backs when I went to check on them Callie was on her tummy! I ran and grabbed the camera and took a few pictures of her. They didn't turn out great because it was dim and the camera wanted to use the flash which caused Callie to close her eyes. Anyways, I then put her on her back again and I caught her rolling over on film! Yay! Enjoy! We are so proud of both of our rollers!

13 Days

A friend, I won't name names-Missy, informed me that it has been 13 days since my last blog post. Which has been too long for her! And for me! So here's a little bit of what we've been up to the past 2 weeks! The biggest news is that the kids are on a 4 hour feeding schedule with 2 naps a day and 12 hours of sleep at night! We go to the Y every day to workout and always find lots of time to play in our Bumbos, exersaucer,on our playmat, on the carpet and with all the new toys we got for Christmas! We also survived a week without Daddy! We were so happy to have him come home!

Doing Fantastic at 5 Months

As you can see Anderson and Callie are into chewing/sucking on everything!

I couldn't get a smile out of Callie. I had to take her 5 Months sign because she kept toppling over trying to suck on it! See picture below! I have to admit I was laughing so hard at this and it kept happening over and over!

We have a roller!

Anderson has started rolling over! Here are pictures from his first experiences!

This was his 1st time (Friday, January 7)! He was supposed to be taking a nap in his crib and this is how I found him:) I was soothing Callie just feet away and missed it!

So I waited 10-15 minutes for him to do it again. All he did was smile at me, so I left. Here's how I found him when I went to check on him! His 2nd roll over with his feet hanging out the crib! And he was sleeping!

Here's his first roll on the activity gym (Sunday, January 9)! Don't you just love how he ended up on top of Callie!?

Here he is today rolling over on the carpet. He's gets a little frustrated because his arm gets stuck underneath him but he gets it out!

On Sunday (9th) Anderson and Callie experienced the exersaucer for the first time! They are still a little small but they love looking at everything!

In other big news...I took the kids to the YMCA Daycare for the 1st time today! This was the first time that we left them with someone who was not a family member! I was completely relieved when I walked in because a parent of one of my former students (we've gotten to know the family really well) was there working! I felt so much better knowing she was there loving on my kids! And she works almost every morning-yippee! Everything went really well! I didn't even shed a tear and I had a great report when I returned from my workout! (Okay, I admit I did check in on them half way through!) I'm glad it all went so well because David and I have signed up to run the Fargo Half-Marathon in May! I have a long way to go in my training but I'm glad I have something to work towards!

How could we not seeing as it was their first Christmas and they were meeting so many family members for the first time. There's a picture video at the end of the blog with more of our photos, you just have to give it a minute to load!

Lookin' good, even if it is their bedtime:)
