Surprise! 2 for MN and 3 for LA

Friday afternoon Liam and I flew up to MN for a surprise visit.  I've been wanting to go for awhile and last week I decided I just couldn't take it anymore and had to go!  Our flight left Shreveport late which meant we missed our flight in Dallas:(  Liam was a rockstar though and had a great time drinking chocolate milk and eating french fries while watching the planes and the tram.  We also spent a good chunk of time playing!  We finally arrived in MN at 11pm and Liam was all smiles when he saw Aunt Merri and cousin April, who were helping us keep our surprise and picked us up at the airport.  We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's at midnight and had a hard time getting them to wake up and get to the door!  But boy were they shocked when they saw us standing there!  While Liam and I were making the trip, David, Anderson and Callie were having a great time at the Barksdale Air Show!  Our good friend, Donna, was there to snap a ton of great pictures so David was able to just enjoy the time with the kiddos!

Saturday morning Liam and I had breakfast and then headed out to get coffee and treats before heading to Uncle Josh, Aunt Brenda, George and Ellee's house.  The plan was to FaceTime with them at 9ish but instead Liam and I showed up at their house-suprise!  They were totally shocked and in disbelief that we were really there!  And we got to meet Baby Ellee!!!!  We spent a few hours hanging out and playing and then we got down to business and did some Spring cleaning!  Mom and Dad came and took Liam for a nap so I could hang out.  After nap they came back and Aunt Merri and April came over to visit.  It was such a great day of just being with family!  The LA crew spent the morning at a birthday party getting sugar highs and the evening having a driveway fire and camp out in the garage.  Bad weather was supposed to come so David thought it safer in the garage than the backyard but the weather never came.

Sunday we spent the day in our jammies!  We had lots of fun and the boys stayed busy but the best part was I snuggled Ellee the whole day!  She's such a sweet little thing!  Then we had a sleepover with George and Ellee at Grandma and Grandpa's!  Anderson, Callie and David spent the morning at church and ran errands after nap before playing outside.

Monday we got up just in time to give Ellee her bottle!  We hung out through lunch time and then it was off to the airport!  Liam was lucky enough to have his own seat on the flight from Minneapolis to Dallas and he did a great job again with all the traveling!  The other 3 got donuts for breakfast, did some more errands and went to gymnastics before picking us up at the airport.  We all had a great time but sure are happy to be back together again!  And I'm just thankful we were able to pull off the suprise!

Granny's Visit and Easter

Granny came to stay with us over Easter and we all had such a nice time!  We spent a lot of time outside (the weather is just perfect here right now) at the park playing and having a picnic lunch, at a horse show up near Benton,  dying Easter Eggs (yay for no mess, Liam wasn't so into it-he didn't even dye one egg!), having resurrection rolls, hunting eggs and just being in the backyard! Can't wait for the next visit Granny, hopefully PopPop can come too!
