Easter Weekend

We started Easter weekend by taking toilet paper tubes (very Corona!) and turning them into bunnies because we had no eggs to dye.  I mean eggs are another hot commodity and I didn't feel we could spare the one carton we could get to dye, plus they were brown.  After posting our cute bunnies on Facebook my co-teacher dropped by with eggs, dye, cascarones and chocolate!  Could it get any better!?  She couldn't imagine the kids not dying eggs!  So Easter morning after the kids hunted eggs and we had brunch, we dyed our eggs!

Bluebonnet Drive

Seeing as adventuring is in our souls we've been getting a little restless around the house so David surprised us with a roadtrip out towards Belton to see the Bluebonnets!

Corona

Talk about crazy!  Get back into the country after fearing what would be going down at the airports, try to stop at multiple stores on the 4 hour drive home because we heard rumors about how crazy it was, get home and head to the store first thing the next morning to wait in line to get in and find this!  Like wow!  How did I not totally freak out!  Maybe because we had a nice friend who left a gallon of milk, a bag of pasta, marina sauce and some chips on our front step!  Anyways, I got whatever I could and we made it. Distance learning was rocky but we finally got into a groove and we had lots of fun doing things as a family!  Here's the start of our quarantine journey.
