Cloth Diapers

Yesterday mom and I went over to Kelly's to learn how to make her amazing cloth diapers! We had so much fun and in the span of almost 4 hours we had 4 diapers completed and 4 more started! Not bad for one pro and two beginners. We don't plan on using cloth diapers right away-it'll be tough enough to make it through the day without having to worry about washing diapers every night. So we plan on starting cloth diapers when the kiddos are a few months old. The diapers have a fleece lining, a soak pad, and a waterproof shell (the yellow). Each diaper also has a series of snaps so that we can fit the diaper to the kiddo. I am also thinking of getting a thin flushable liner that you can place in the diaper so that all you have to do is grab the liner and poo and flush it down the toilet and finish by washing the diaper in the washing machine! But we have plenty of time to work out all the details!

  1. I switched Drew to the Bum Genius 3.0 when he was a few months old and I LOVE them! They are similar design to disposable but the liner pulls out to wash them. They're so easy to use! I can get you more info if you want; a friend turned me onto them.
