34 Weeks Plus a Nursery Sneak Peak!

I am so happy to say that we are uneventfully here at 34 weeks! Everyday I wake up and I am so thankful that everything is still going so well! The more time the kids and I spend together the better!

This past weekend we went to the State Fair to hear a couple of concerts-Friday night was Brooks and Dunn, Sunday was Eric Church. We had a great time! However, you would think that I was one of the attractions by the way people stared at my belly! David and I decided that we should open up a booth and charge $1 for people to stare at me! I'm pretty sure we'd be able to pay for the kids college by doing this. We have 2 more concerts this coming weekend-Darius Rucker and Sugarland.

We've also finished up just about everything on our list! We've gotten the necessary supplies, the nursery is ready and the Pac N Play is set-up in our room! The dogs were a little confused last night when they found their beds in the office and the Pac N Play in place of their beds! Eventually, the dogs will get used to the new location of their beds!

Warning!!! Bare Belly Below!

  1. Always love to check up on you!!! Do you think sometimes...can my belly stretch anymore?? Also love the people looking at you like a freak show! But I still couldn't believe there was two in there!

FYI: Make a floor plan #2 when they both can stand up in their cribs..They will play with eachother or in my case Lucy beats up Joe. Today I just had to move the cribs across the room from eachother!

You are looking great and pray they stay in another month or so!

  2. My babies (though I only had one at a time) always loved to grab anything they could reach once they could stand up. So we always had to move their cribs away from dressers, changing tables, etc. But I LOVE the nursery! It's soooo cute!!! I love that you did green accents.

BTW: Your belly looks completely different this week!!! It looks like they've dropped way down (and consequently out). If my guess is right, you just have a little over three weeks :)

  3. Ok...it's calling me Melissa. I have no idea why. It's me...Missy.

  4. One step ahead of Jackie! The cribs can slide apart from where they are to be closer to the dresssers and against the wall, leaving 2-3 feet between the sides of their cribs. Right now the extra space is between the wall and other end of the crib. If doesn't work when the time comes will rearrange! Talk to you later this week!

  5. Me again...

Do you seriously not have any stretch marks??? 'Cause I don't see a single one.

  6. There's nothing to grab from the sides of dressser so until they reach the stuff on top we'll hopefully be ok. But it's all about flexiblity, right girls!?!

  8. Holy Belly Batman!!! :) I can't believe you are still upright. Good for you! And good for them! Staying inside as long as possible = smart boy and smart girl! The nursery looks fantastic. Love the crib sheet design and your canvases are brilliant! Where did you get the animal stencils (unless you hand painted the animals?)??

  9. The nursery looks great as do you! You, Grandma Boettger & David did a fabulous job;-) You know how we have our cribs set up & the girls seem to like it as they can still talk & share their blankets (HA!) but that's great to have a back up plan if any bullying takes place:) At the very most you ONLY have a MONTH!!!!
