Remembering Dr. Fischbach and David's Birthday

Today we attended Dr. Fischbach's funeral. He passed away last Thursday. When I heard the news last week I got a little teary eyed. Dr. Fischbach was an amazing doctor and over the years he became very important to us. He became our doctor when we started trying to expand our family. He was with us through all of our testing, surgery, treatments, pregnancy, and birth! We will truly miss him (especially when we decide to expand again) and are so thankful that we were able have him as a doctor and friend. Yesterday we stopped at his office (after a pediatrician appointment) and spent sometime with Candy, his nurse. She shared many fond memories of Dr. Fischbach with us and we spent a lot of time smiling and laughing over all of the stories.

On a happier note Grandma and Grandpa were here visiting this past weekend. We all had a great time, especially David and I since we were able to go on two dates (out to dinner and drinks and to the shooting range)!

Saturday, October 23-David turned 30! We had a small party for David with the kiddos, grandparents, and doggies!

Anderson and Callie have really started smiling, cooing and making eye contact this past week! I love watching and interacting with them, as does Dad! They are just so fun!

Here's how Anderson and Callie will be traveling this winter-in style thanks to Grandma!

  1. Sorry to hear about your doctor. The kids will need those car seat covers now! Good thing Grandma visited last weekend. They sure are cute! David is looking good for a thirty year old!
