This was his 1st time (Friday, January 7)! He was supposed to be taking a nap in his crib and this is how I found him:) I was soothing Callie just feet away and missed it!
So I waited 10-15 minutes for him to do it again. All he did was smile at me, so I left. Here's how I found him when I went to check on him! His 2nd roll over with his feet hanging out the crib! And he was sleeping!
Here's his first roll on the activity gym (Sunday, January 9)! Don't you just love how he ended up on top of Callie!?
Anderson Rolling Over on Carpet from Angela Scott on Vimeo.
Here he is today rolling over on the carpet. He's gets a little frustrated because his arm gets stuck underneath him but he gets it out!
On Sunday (9th) Anderson and Callie experienced the exersaucer for the first time! They are still a little small but they love looking at everything!
In other big news...I took the kids to the YMCA Daycare for the 1st time today! This was the first time that we left them with someone who was not a family member! I was completely relieved when I walked in because a parent of one of my former students (we've gotten to know the family really well) was there working! I felt so much better knowing she was there loving on my kids! And she works almost every morning-yippee! Everything went really well! I didn't even shed a tear and I had a great report when I returned from my workout! (Okay, I admit I did check in on them half way through!) I'm glad it all went so well because David and I have signed up to run the Fargo Half-Marathon in May! I have a long way to go in my training but I'm glad I have something to work towards!
Love Anderson's & Callie's smiles on the exersaucer, so cute and precious!!
ReplyDeleteLove those babies!
ReplyDeleteWhen ours were still a little too small for the exersaucer, we used a rolled up blanket either in front or behind them to help prop them up so they could still play. All of ours loved it.
