More Minnesota

Dad left to go back to Louisana last Thursday bright and early.  We miss him dearly but have been finding plenty of ways to pass the time!  Friday we went blueberry picking in the morning with grandma and we got 7 pounds!! Friday night we headed out to the car show with Grandpa where we ran into cousin Ryan and saw some great cars!  Callie liked a teal one best, Anderson liked all the red ones and Liam most certainly disliked the loud ones!  We took a few pictures by Dad's favorite-Chevy Camero!
Saturday we headed down to Hanska to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa on their farm.  The kids had a great time and we not shy about exploring at all!  At one point we went outside and in the time it took me to get my phone out of the car they were around the back of the house and into the trees leading into the bean fields.  Saturday night we hung out with my bestie-Melissa at the neighbors who were having a party with a live band!
Monday we started swimming lessons which we have Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks.  The kids are doing great!  Anderson and Callie are on their own, Liam is with me and George is with Grandma.
All week we've been having a blast outside-picking more berries, driving gators, catching bugs and having them sleep next to us, reading with Aunt Merri, ice cube painting and more!  It has been such a fun-filled week having George and Ellee staying here at Grandma and Grandpa's house with us.
Thursday night I went out and met some of my high school girlfriends.  It has been 10+ years since I've seen some of them!  It was such a good time!
Friday we took all the kids to the Anoka County Fair.  We ate hot dogs, fries, mini doughnuts (Liam's new favorite) and ice cream, rode a few atvs, sat in a cop car and saw lots of animals.
Saturday morning we headed downtown to meet my bestie, Melissa, at the Sculpture Gardens.  She grabbed us coffee and treats and we walked and talked while the kids ran and played on the sculptures.  So glad I can get them some art exposure at a young age and it's so fun! After we headed to lunch at a trendy little place, World Street Kitchen, which started out as a food truck.  Yum!
