Spring Break 2017

For our first official, we have kids in school who have a Spring Break we met Grandpa, Grandma and the Boettgers in Port Aransas, Texas!  We left Friday after school (and after David got home from a TDY) and drove through the night.   Here's a quick breakdown of our fun!

Saturday-We stopped for breakfast in San Antonio and arrived at the ferry mid-late morning, putting us on the island just in time for lunch! We played at the beach and had dinner at the house.
Sunday-We had all day beach play followed by dinner out at Victoria's on the Bay
Monday-We spent the morning on the beach.  For the afternoon we cruised around and explored the city and beach on the golf carts we rented!  We saw dolphins, sea turtles, birds and lots of candy!
Tuesday-We hung out at the beach again (can you tell we like it there!?!) and then went out to dinner at The Crazy Cajun-only it wasn't as crazy as we remember it!  Never the less the kids liked eating with out plates!

Wednesday-We hung out at the house, did some chalk outside and then went on a Dolphin and Trolling Tour where we got to feel the sea creatures (shrimp, sting rays, flat fish, squid and more) that we pulled up!
Thursday-Half of the group went crabbing while the other half headed to the beach.  We spent the afternoon at the beach and went to dinner at Moby Dick's.
Friday-We played at the park, went out to lunch and spent some time finding hermit crabs and coquinas on the beach before having dinner out.
Saturday-We left for Fort Worth for an over night stop to see the Mills.  It was great to catch up with them!  And the kids were so happy to see each other!
Sunday-After a full day of driving we arrived home at about 8pm!  Talk aboutsqueezing every minute out of Spring Break!
