Costa Rica Mission Trip

We had an amazing trip to Costa Rica as chaperones for our churches high schoolers. We had so much fun, worked hard, spoke Spanish and realized there are some pretty awesome teenagers out there! Here's a little glimpse of our trip. I didn't take too many pictures, I was busy soaking it all in!
And we're off!
Our bus for the week! Daniel was a great driver!
The church where we stayed.  We stayed at one church and ate our meals at another.
Sunday morning worship.
The bridge over a river taking you into the center of town.

Enjoying Pops ice cream on our relaxing Sunday.

The view from the top of the hill near the road, we were working here in the "compound" on the right.
View from the other hill top (pictured above).  You can see the cabins' red roofs on the left and the road is at the top near the tree line.
Sugar can fields at the top of the hill.
Looking over the other side of the hill.

Playing games, something we did every night.  David and I even taught the high schoolers Kings in the Corner!
Typical bridge on our way to zip lining. We had to get out of the van and walk across after the van drove across empty.
