Church Program and Gingerbread Houses
This morning the kids participated in a church program at the church we've been attending (we're thinking this might the one for us here in Bellevue!) and it was awesome! First of all, there was no extra practice required for us. The kids just had to show up in holiday colors, watch the pageant and then sing the first verses of three well known Christmas songs. Second, the church did a really great job with cast and the props! From there we headed home to change then it was off to Freddy's to have lunch with the Dishmon's and then onto the Mormon Winter Quarters Historic Site to see their Gingerbread House display. The display was nice and they gave each of the kiddos a little clipboard with a picture scavenger hunt of things to look for in the gingerbread houses. After that we came back here and made our own gingerbread houses! I just love Christmas activities!
