Liam's room has been a long process for us...mainly the bed. David and I went to the u-pull it junk yard back in July and found this tailgate and grill for Liam's room. Since Liam is obsessed with cars and trucks and tractors we thought this was such a fun idea! David worked so hard on stripping it, prepping it and painting it-3 times! Yes, 3 times! There were all sorts of technical difficulties with the primer, paint and clear coat! So he had to do the process 3 times! What a racket but boy does it look amazing! Even better than what I saw on Pinterest and what I dreamed up in my head! Another difficulty was finding curtains that were fun but matched the totally Liam green he choose. After scouring the internet I came up with these and they're great! Hanging the grill and license plates (of all the states we've lived in) totally bring the room together!
