Brown Bear Brown Bear

I don't know who's having more fun with home school-me or the kids!?! It is so much fun to plan awesome learning activites for your own kiddos! This week, our 2nd week had the theme of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, the letter Tt and the bible story if Noah along with a lot of other topics (sight word, color, shape of the week...). We graphed M&Ms for math, painted Ts with toothpicks for our alphabet books, used do-a-dots on our turtle finger play paper, built towers, cut out T word pictures to glue on turtles, made rain in science, retold the story using color words and animals on a pocket chart, wrote in our journals, spelled color words with tiles, did our Scripture Doodle and more! We ended our week with a field trip downtown Livermore for haircuts (see next post). After we had a color scavenger hunt and lunch at Tequila Taqeria-for T week of course! It's really amazing how much the kids know and are capable of! I'm so impressed with my little students!
