Sacramento

Yesterday we spent the day in Sacramento. We got to town and stopped for a quick easy lunch at a pizza place near the Children's Museum before heading into play. The museum was pretty small and disappointing so good thing we got in free for being military! After an hour we headed to Fairytale Land-free thanks to being military! We enjoyed this a bit more and the kids had a great time running around and playing. Our last stop of the day was Old Town Sacramento. It turns out Gold Rush Days were going on. They were pretty much over when we got there but a few actors, cowboys and horses were still around and the kids managed to each get a gold coin. We had an awesome early dinner right on the river in Old Town. Oh and save the best for last...a huge old time candy shop! We all found our own sweet treats after many difficult decisions!
